We are an inclusive LGBTQ+ Alcoholics Anonymous group providing a safe space for recovery in Pacific Beach. We celebrate who we are, and we recover together. You belong.
The term Friend of Bill W. has long been standard code for members of Alcoholics Anonymous. For the LGBTQ+ community, Friend of Dorothy was our own secret shorthand, used to safely find family.
Our group, Friends of Bill & Dorothy, unites these two traditions. We honor the path of recovery laid out by Bill W. while creating a space where we can celebrate our full identities as queer people.
